probably early twentieth century, glass
Seal of Usk Priory, Priory Church of St Mary, Usk

Depiction of the seal in the modern east window of the chancel.
The seal depicts the Virgin Mary enthroned and holding the Infant Jesus on her left knee. The Lombardic Capital script used in the legend shows that the original seal was engraved prior to the mid-14th century. The legend reads: S: SCE: MARIE: ET: CONVENTUS: DE: VSKA (The seal of Saint Mary and the Convent of Usk)
