This charter was granted by the bishop of Llandaff, Henry de Abergavenny. It concerns Neath Abbey's lands in the diocese of Llandaff c. 1200. It was probably issued soon after the community had failed to move for safety to Exford, Somerset, and was an attempt to secure Neath's holdings. Source:
